This Privacy Policy describes how the Shikaku mobile app ("Shikaku," "the app," "we," "us") handles information. In short: Shikaku does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. Everything the app needs to run stays on your device.

Shikaku does not have a server, does not use analytics, does not use advertising networks, does not use crash-reporting or tracking software development kits (SDKs), and does not require you to create an account. The app does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or any other device permission that would let it collect personal information.
Shikaku saves a small amount of data locally on your device, using standard iOS storage
(UserDefaults and a local save file), so your progress and preferences persist
between sessions. This includes:
This information is stored only on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere, never seen by us, and never shared with any third party. If you delete the app, this data is deleted along with it.
The Daily Challenge screen shows a ranking alongside your result. This ranking is generated entirely on your device for entertainment purposes and is not a live leaderboard of real people — no other users' data is involved, transmitted, or collected in any way.
Shikaku does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected at all, the app does not present any privacy risk specific to children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region).
Shikaku does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. No information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties, because no information leaves your device in the first place.
Because all app data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. You can reset your in-app profile and preferences from within the app's Settings, or remove all app data at once by deleting the app from your device.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that collects information — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
